This is an unusual brand new Staunton pattern featuring a knight with an intricately carved muscular body and mane. It's highly muscular stretched and twisted neck gives it a snake-like appearance while it's open mouth shows it ready for action.

The white pieces are made of boxwood and the dark pieces of red sandalwood.

The King's height is 4" and has a base diameter of 1 7/8" with green felt pads. This is a triple weighted chess set with the king weighing 3.6 ounces. The recommended chessboard shown has a square size of 2 1/2" and may be purchased as an option.
