This 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" travel chess set is a very popular size. It is constructed of boxwood and sheeshamwood making up the board and pieces which are stored in a sliding storage tray which is puched open by hand. There is a spring mounted ball bearing which locks the tray in the mid position ensuring it doesn't shoot out when pressed.

The square size of the chessboard is 3/4" and the king is 1 1/4" tall with a green felt base.
